Run as the fourth race on the second day of the 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships, the Filly & Mare Turf is an endurance test. For female horses aged three and older, they'll run 1 3/8 miles on the Churchill Downs turf course, racing for a total purse of $2 million. The race has been run 18 times as a part of the Breeders' Cup, with European horses winning 11 of those.

For 2018 at Churchill Downs, the Turf Sprint will be run at 5.5 furlongs, and offers a purse of $1 million.

Open to two-year-old colts, they'll be racing one mile at Chuchill Downs, chasing a purse of $1 million.

The Breeder's Cup Filly & Mare Sprint kicks off the second day of the 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships, the first of nine BC races on the Saturday card from Churchill Downs. For fillies and mares aged three and older racing seven furlongs on the dirt, it offers a total purse of $1 million. In 2017 the F&M Sprint produced the biggest single payout of all Breeders' Cup races.

The third race on the Breeders' Cup World Championships opening day, the $2 million Juvenile Fillies is open to two-year-old female horses who be will racing 1 1/16 miles on the Churchill Downs dirt track. As is the case with the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner being tabbed as an early favorite for the Kentucky Derby, the Juvenile Fillies winner sets her sights on next spring's Kentucky Oaks.

The final race on the 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships opening day, the Juvenile is open to two-year-old colts who be will racing 1 1/16 miles on the Churchill Downs dirt track for a total purse of $2 million. The Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner is always tabbed as an early favorite for the Kentucky Derby on the first Saturday in May.

The second 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships race on Future Stars Friday, November 2, and the second of 14 Breeders' Cup races in all, the Juvenile Fillies Turf is open to two-year-old fillies racing one mile on the Churchill Downs turf course. The race carries a $1 million total purse and is restricted to 14 starters. Last year Rushing Fall won the race at odds of +300.

A brand-new race added to the 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships, the Juvenile Turf Sprint will be the first of 14 Breeders' Cup races to be run at Churchill Downs the first weekend of November. The race is open to two-year-old colts and fillies, sprinting 5.5 furlongs on the Churchill turf course, and offers a total purse of $1 million.
