The Colorado Avalanche NHL hockey franchise has experienced both highs and lows in its history. Originally founded as the Quebec Nordiques in 1972, the team moved to Denver in 1995 and became the Avalanche. In their inaugural season in Denver, the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup. They won again in 2000-01.

In recent years, the Avalanche struggled and had several poor seasons, which allowed them to draft top prospects. As of 2020, they are considered to be in a rebuilding phase and may need a few more years before returning to playoff and championship contention.

Colorado Avalance Betting Predictions

Avoid future bets when it comes to the Colorado Avalanche for the foreseeable future. They have a lot of young talent but aren't growing and developing as most people expected. Things have to change for this team to make strides in the right direction.

And it's going to take time and patience for this current outfit to challenge for a playoff berth in one of the most competitive divisions in the league. The Central Division is busting at the seams with Stanley Cup contenders, including the St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild. The Nashville Predators aren't far off either, which leaves the Avalanche miles behind.

10-Game Metrics

If you're intent on finding the best value Avs' bets, take a look at how they're faring over a 10-game span. Even Colorado are bound to go on a hot streak of sorts, or, alternatively, an extended losing streak. These are the opportune moments to get involved on betting either for, or against, Colorado.
