Everton have been members of the Premier League since its inception, and are one of just a handful of teams who formed the football league. Everton have a fanatical following both at home and on the road. Everton used to be one of English football’s biggest names. In the mid-1980’s, they won two league titles and the F.A. Cup under the stewardship of perhaps their most treasured son, manager Howard Kendall. But the success of Everton has not been limited to the 1980’s, with a 1995 F.A.Cup win over Manchester United.
The deciding goal came courtesy of a solitary goal from Paul Rideout. A few years after the Premier League was formed, Everton were in danger of being relegated. They survived on goal difference, pipping Bolton Wanderers to stay in the divison by the narrowest of margins. Things started to turn around when Everton hired David Moyes. His tenure was helped dramtically by the emergence of 16-year-old prodigy Wayne Rooney.
With Rooney in the side, Everton were safe from relegation fears. Moyes also made astute business decisions with the money the club received from selling Rooney to Manchester United. A well-drilled, organized and determined squad, Everton performed consistently well under Moyes’ leadership, even qualifying for the UEFA Champions League preliminary round in 2005.
Villareal beat Everton 4-2 on aggregate, eventually making it all the way to the semi-finals of the competition.
Everton endured a woeful second half to the 2015/16 season, with the wheels coming off Roberto Martinez’ side. Cue Ronald Koeman. He stepped in and is making the kind of impression on Merseyside most people believed he would.

How To Win Everton Bets
Ronald Koeman is instilling a winning culture on Merseysie. They finished in seventh place in the 2016-17 season and improved consistently as the season went along. The big question is whether the Toffees can hold on to their elite players, including Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, who are rumoured to potentially be on the move.
Back the Toffees when they are playing at home, regardless of who they are playing. Everton are one of the strongest home teams in the Premier League. It's a fortress visiting teams do not look forward to playing at. Everton, with 43 points in 19 matches, enjoyed the fourth best home record. Only Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal fared better at home.
The Dutch manager offered his young players a shot at first-team football, decisions that paid off for the most part. Look to the futures market, backing Everton to once again qualify for Europe.
Koeman has also been promised massive investment by the new owners and will be able to bring players with pedigree to the team.. This team is on the verge of entering the elite conversation but it's still too early to back them in the futures market. Look for them to do well in the FA Cup, though.
