Super Bowl LII

Bovada lists the New England Patriots as 4.5 favorites to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII Sunday in Minnesota, and on the surface, that doesn't seem like a lot of points to give - at least it doesn't until you do your homework and realize that twice previously in Super Bowl history, a team has been favored by 4.5 points, and neither team covered the spread.

Not so long ago, Nick Foles had a great job. As back-up QB of the Philadelphia Eagles, he held a clipboard on the sideline, watching NFL MVP candidate Carson Wentz work under center and lead the Eagles toward the NFC East title. That comfort zone came to a crashing halt in Week 14 when Wentz suffered a season-ending torn ACL, leaving Foles to carry the Eagles to Super Bowl LII.
