Umpire stats

There’s more to betting on Major League Baseball than just hitters and pitchers. Other stats have to be considered — like home-field advantage, playing in the daytime or at night, a team’s record on grass or synthetic turf or how a team performs against a right-handed or left-handed pitcher, to name just a few. Does it matter who’s calling the balls and strikes behind the plate? You bet it does.
