It’s never too early to put your money on Super Bowl 52. With an abundance of futures and proposition bets to select from, placing your money on teams and players well in advance can result in huge paydays if everything falls into place. Ask anyone who put their money on the Patriots before the season to win Super Bowl 51, despite not being the No. 1 favorite to capture the title in the pre-season betting odds.
Tom Brady is a special player — possibly the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL. But at 40 years old, can the five-time Super Bowl shoot for a sixth ring? Oddsmakers with several online sportsbooks, including Bovada, tend to think it is probable, as the Patriots enter the 2018 campaign as +400 Super Bowl favorites. The main pieces — including Brady — are expected to return to the lineup, making the Patriots a legitimate championship contender once again.
Not far behind the Pats at No. 2 are the Dallas Cowboys, who some pegged as Super Bowl favorites in the latter stages of the 2016 season. After a sizzling campaign in which the Cowboys finished with a 13-3 record to top the NFC East Division, youth set in as the club showed its inexperience come playoff time. Dallas enters the 2017-18 season as +750 favorites to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl since 1995.
Where do the Super Bowl 51 finalist Atlanta Falcons fall into the equation? Bovada is offering early +1200 odds the Falcons will regroup and win the organization’s first Super Bowl in 2018. However, it’ll be hard not to back Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers after their remarkable season in 2016 or even the Pittsburgh Steelers, who will be healthy and hungry to snap an nine-year championship drought. Both the Packers and Steelers are also +1200 favorites.
Super Bowl LII Future Odds
Which teams have the longest shot? That’d be the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears and New York Jets — who all opened at +10000 underdogs.

Who Will Win Super Bowl 2018?
Now that you’ve had a moment to do a little research to find out which teams are true Super Bowl contenders, it’s time to make some early predictions.
AFC Super Bowl LII
Let’s start in the AFC, where the New England Patriots are obvious favorites to come out on top for possibly the third time in four years.
There’s something about Brady and winning that go hand-in-hand. The all-star quarterback has proven he can still compete at an elite level, but can the Patriots stave off surging teams like the Steelers, Oakland Raiders or Kansas City Chiefs for much longer in the AFC?
Brady looks as if he could play another five years, and with a supporting cast that includes Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, you can expect the Pats to be in the thick of things once again.
So who will be New England’s toughest challenger? That would still have to be the Steelers, who’s Big Three of Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown.
If you went in on the Patriots now on a wager worth $1,000, another Super Bowl victory would fetch a bettor $4,000.
NFC Super Bowl LII Favorites
In the NFC, things get much more complicated.
The Falcons are definitely in the mix to return to the Super Bowl, especially with a young defense that has potential to be one of the best in the NFL heading forward. But early indications point to the Dallas Cowboys — with dynamic duo, quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott — as potential Super Bowl contenders out of the NFC.
The Packers should also be mentioned but a dreadful defense will keep many bettors second-guessing, especially if it means putting your money on a futures bet.
An early futures wager of $1,000 on the +750 Cowboys would result in a payday worth $7,500 should America’s Team capture the Super Bowl in 2018.
Either way, there is definitely ample time to put your Super Bowl wagers in, but know the longer you wait to put your money on some of the favorites, the less likely you’ll get the same odds once the 2017-18 campaign officially kicks off.
