Main Event: Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz

Due to a last minute injury, the main event at UFC 196 has changed. Originally McGregor was scheduled to fight Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight champion. He now faces Nate Diaz, a talented fighter and loud personality – in what should be an exciting and explosive match, even if no championships are on the line. McGregor is one of the hottest fighters in the UFC – going 7-0 in his UFC career (and 19-2 in his MMA career overall). McGregor’s pinpoint striking and furiousity make him the favourite. Diaz has the advantage in size – as McGregor is still fighting a division up – still it is hard to see McGregor losing his winning streak when the stakes are not that high.

Holly Holm vs. Miesha Tate

The solo title on the line this Saturday features the women’s bantamweight champion – Holly Holm – taking on the second ranked contender – Miesha Tate. After pulling off a huge upset at UFC 193 – Holm’s is fighting to prove she is the real deal. Holm is a strong defender with great striking and matches up well against Tate who lacks ring presence when fighting standing up.

Corey Anderson vs. Tom Lawlor

Two light heavyweight rounds out the best betting options on this weekend’s fight card.
