Lone Star State squad is riding high in the West
A high scoring offense, that’s been coupled with a bend don’t break defense, has helped Dallas soar to the top of the Western Conference standings early in the 2015-16 NHL season. The Stars 9-2 record has Dallas one point ahead of the St. Blues in the Central Division and four points behind Montreal for first overall in the NHL. Loaded with talent, Dallas boasts the top two scorers in the league as Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin have 17 and 16 points respectively. Overall, Dallas has seven players with at least seven points – Toronto has one as defenceman Dion Phanuef has posted seven assists.
