St. Louis vs Denver NFL Week 11 Load Up And Prosper

One team is soaring while the other is searching for wings as Denver heads into St. Louis today. The Broncos are 7-2 and tied for the best record in the AFC while the Rams are floundering in the NFC with a 3-6 record. Game time is slated for 1:00 PM ET on November 16, 2014, at the Edward Jones Dome, in St. Louis, Missouri. The Rams fairly solid defense won't be enough to slow down Manning & Crew.

Denver simply doesn't lose to inferior opponents

Talk about getting up for dogs, since Peyton Manning landed in Denver to open the 2013 NFL season, the Broncos have not lost to a team that ended the season with a losing record. Manning & Crew are 36-8 and the losses were to New England (3) and once each to the Colts, Texans, Falcons, Chargers and Seahawks. Talent challenged Rams don't have the horses to run with the Broncos 

While the Rams (3-6) have battled hard, especially considering the key injuries they have dealt with, reality may be setting in after they gave up a 14-3 lead and were then blown out 31-14 by the Cardinals in Arizona last week. Denver will want to run the ball against St. Louis as the Rams are giving up 124.2 rushing yards per game. The Broncos lost Ronnie Hillman to foot injury last week but RB Monte Ball (hamstring) is expected back and he will share the load with promising rookie C.J. Anderson. 

Broncos vs Rams Summary and Prediction: With the NFL season as short as it, and since every win is ultra important, we rarely buy into the "they may look past this team" theory - especially when it comes to the Manning & Crew. Even if the Rams score their 18.1 PPG average today, which isn't a given with Hill under center against an improving Broncos defense, Denver hasn't been held under 20 points since they defeated the Chiefs 17-9 back in Week 12 during the 2012 season.
