NFL Week 7 Picks

NFL Week 7 Picks

No team has produced a more shocking start to their season, from a winning perspective, than the Kansas City Chiefs. The Shock Jocks of the NFL look to remain perfect when they battle a struggling Houston Texans squad on October 20, 2013 at at 1:00 PM ET from Arrowhead Stadium. This KC Crew is for real and the joint is gonna be jumping!

Roar has been restored at Arrowhead

Maybe someone should warn the Mississippi Riverboat Captains that they may experience some rumblings and rough waters on Sunday afternoon. That’s because a sold-out Arrowhead Stadium, that will be awash in a sea of red, will rocking to its very foundation as the Chiefs look to go 7-0 to start the 2013 NFL season. Winners of just two of 16 games during NFL 2012 action, the mighty Chiefs have swarmed out to a 6-0 start this season. Talk about a turnaround season – wow!

Houston Texans: Find themselves in a role reversal

If someone had offered you a line of +7 points and Houston against the Chiefs back in the preseason you probably would have mortgaged the farm – and with a ton of solid reasons to do so. The Texans have posted a 22-10 record, made the NFL playoffs, and they've won two postseason games, over the past two years. The team returned largely intact this season but, after a 2-4 start, the new Lone Star State Boys have been saddled with a heap of problems. Buh Bye futures bets!

Chiefs vs Texans Bottom Line & Money Spread Prediction

We hope casual NFL betting fans have checked in on the progress in Missouri - and don’t get sucked in by the price on the Texans. The Chiefs posted a 9-23 record over the past two seasons and they are not supposed to be this good – this fast. That said, the best defense in the NFL is playing in one of the loudest stadiums in the league and QB Alex Smith is still winning games. We’ll take the “safer” road and back the Chiefs with a jacked up -285 ML  bet online at Bovada!
