March Madness Final Four Game Odds & Matchup Comparison

Oklahoma Sooners (+110) vs. Villanova Wildcats (-130)

The magnificence of Buddy Hield has been on full display for the nation to see during March Madness. Hield has set the tournament on fire and has proved time and again why he is one of the favorites to win Naismith National Player of the Year honors. The 22-year old out of the Bahamas has averaged a little over 29 points per game this tournament and will be the key to whether or not Oklahoma can take the title back to Norman.

Hield isn't alone as Oklahoma has benefitted greatly from having five different players start 36 games this season. The key to Oklahoma winning is simple and straight forward: get the ball to Buddy and let him get buckets.

Fresh off possibly the biggest upset of the Elite Eight, Villanova is on fire after knocking off the biggest dog in the yard, Kansas. The Wildcats have been heating up each game of the tournament and have had some big victories thus far. Aside from their five-point triumph over the Jayhawks, Villanova's tournament resume has included thrashings of both Iowa (19 points) and Miami (23).

Coach Jay Wright has been able to buck the trend of recent letdowns in the tournament with this appearance and junior Josh Hart has been the leader by averaging over 15 points a game.

Villanova is the more balanced team when compared to the Sooners, but when you look at the hot hand (Hield) and the pseudo-homecourt advantage of Houston, OU has the slight advantage in this slugfest.

Pick: Oklahoma (+2)

Prediction: Oklahoma wins 75-72

North Carolina (-520) vs. Syracuse (+410)

In a clash of legendary head coaches, Roy Williams' squad comes in as the odds-on favorite to win it all. North Carolina has not been to a Final Four since 2009, but this year's team -- with the dyanamic duo of Brice Johnson and Marcus Paige -- has been dominant. North Carolina has knocked around every team they have faced in the tournament by an average of 16 points so this one could also get ugly if Paige and Johnson get humming early.

What a run it has been for Jim Boeheim in his twilight season with Syracuse. With blowout wins over Middle Tennessee and Dayton and narrow victories over Gonzaga and Virginia, this year's tournament run has had it all. Freshman Malachi Robinson has been the most consistent force for the Orange this tournament as he notched 23 points in the win over Virginia and 21 in the victory over Dayton to open the tournament. Boeheim will need a very balanced performance from his squad to upset the highly-favored Tar Heels, but they have been turning heads this entire year.

Even with this kind of momentum, the Orange have not been able to get past the Tar Heels this season as North Carolina swept Syracuse twice this year in ACC play by 11 points on the road and five points at home.

North Carolina is still the favorite to take the title home, but this matchup will be closer than many people think.

Pick: Syracuse (+9)

Prediction: UNC wins 81-74
