Having steamrolled to the top of the NL East standings, thanks to an 8-2 recent run, New York looks to keep the good times rolling down in South Beach. Despite allowing just nine earned runs, Phelps has failed to register a win over his last six starts as the Marlins have been outscored by a 24-7 margin in those contests. The Mets added some much needed punch to their batting order at the trade deadline and they will be a force during the playoff stretch drive.
