Houston Texans vs Cincinnati Bengals: NFL Week 10 Forecast
Bengals aim to remain perfect during NFL 2015
Perfect through the first half of the 2015 NFL season, Cincinnati looks to stay hot as they welcome the Texans to the Queen City. Playing in prime time for a second straight week, following a 31-10 crushing of the Cleveland Browns during Thursday Night Football action in Week 9, the Bengals are looking to keep pace with the Patriots and Panthers who are both sporting 9-0 records. The Cats sit third in the league with a +87 points for – points against ratio as they have outscored their opponents by a 229-142 margin. The Bengals 17.8 points allowed per game is second only to 17.1 mark posted by Minnesota while their 28.6 points scored is the third best mark in the NFL. These Cats are cruising eh?
Houston Texans: Surprisingly still in the fight for an AFC playoff position
Despite their dismal 3-5 record, Houston is just one game behind the crashing Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South Division. Inconsistent quarterback play, plus the loss of Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster, has contributed to a scoring drought in Houston as the Texans 21.8 points per game is the 23rd worst mark in the league. Defense hasn’t been a shining light in the Lone Star State either as the Texans have allowed 25.6 points per game. Though they came against the lowly Jaguars and Titans, who own a combined 5-13 record, Houston has won two of their last three games. The loss brutal though as the Miami Dolphins crushed the Texans 44-16 during Week 7 action. Houston has lots of problems.
Texans vs Bengals NFL Week 10 Call: While nothing is guaranteed yet, the Bengals are well on their way to winning the AFC North. However, with Pittsburgh just two games back in the win column, the Cats need to keep clawing as victories this week and next would earn Cincinnati a four game lead on the Steelers who have a Week 11 bye. One the other side of the coin, the Texans still believe they can win the AFC South so we expect a decent effort from the Lone Star State Crew. Favorites and home teams have struggled through a rough Week 10 as the dogs and the visitors have both posted a 10-3 record. With that in mind, we are buying some points and backing the Bengals with a 1000 unit wager on the alternate point spread price posted at the Sportsbook.ag online wagering website.
