Colorado vs Seattle: MLB Cellar Dwellers Duel in Denver

NL West vs AL West: Clash of MLB cellar contenders
Save for the Boston Red Sox, no 2015 MLB team is more disappointing than Seattle. Sitting with a 48-58 record, the Mariners are 12 games behind Houston in the AL West and 6.5 game out of the AL Wild Card race. As many expected, Colorado is bringing up the rear in NL West as their 44-59 mark has them 15 games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers and 12.5 games out of the NL Wild Card chase. Seattle (7-10) and Colorado (5-10) have both continued to struggle coming out of the All-Star break.
King Felix faces the Colorado Rockies for the first time in his career
We mentioned a Seattle vs Colorado clash is rare - a little surprising given their relative close proximity to each other. These teams last meet in 2012 and they have only faced each other nine times over the past decade. Mariners RHP Felix Hernandez (12-6 ERA 3.02) has never faced the Rockies, even though he has been healthy and on the roster during those nine contests. After tonight, St. Louis will be the only team Hernandez has not faced. RHP Eddie Butler (3-7 ERA 4.82) gets the call for Colorado.
Rockies vs Mariners MLB Game Day Call: Colorado can score runs as they sit fifth (469) overall in the Majors. King Felix is looking for some redemption after he gave up seven runs in an 8-2 loss to Arizona on July 29. The last time Hernandez gave up a seven-spot he came back with a two hitter in a 2-1 win over Tampa Bay on June 6. Counting on The King, we are siding with Seattle and a 500 unit wager on the money line price posted at TopBet. Click the odds image below to get in the game.
