Fresh of a first round bye, Carolina puts their sparkling 15-1 regular season record on the line against Seattle (10-6) who are playing a third straight road game. Thanks in large part to a missed 27-yard field goal attempt - the Seahawks are playing with house-money as they escaped Minnesota with 10-9 win over the Vikings during Wild Card playoff action last Sunday. Carolina went into Seattle and won 27-23 during Week 6 action as the Panthers posted two touchdowns in the final four minutes. Something has to give here as the Cats (31.3 PPG) are the top scoring team in the NFL while the Hawks ranked first overall allowing just 17.3 points per game on defense. Denver Broncos vs Pittsburgh Steelers: AFC Mile High Showdown
Closing out the 2016 NFL Divisional playoffs, Denver hosts a battered Pittsburgh squad in late game action today. The Steelers survived a brawl filled Wild Card battle against the Bengals as they kicked a late field goal to post an 18-16 win in Cincinnati last weekend. The victory wasn’t without a price though as Pittsburgh lost all-world WR Antonio Brown to a concussion and QB Ben Roethlisberger suffered a shoulder injury in that contest. The Steelers scored 24 unanswered points and recorded a 34-27 victory in Pittsburgh back in Week 15. The better defense and home field advatage carry the Broncos here.
