As the NFL celebrates its 100 anniversary, the league welcomes the Kansas City Chiefs back to the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years. The Chiefs, 1.5-point favorites in Super Bowl 54, won Super Bowl 4 23-7 over the Minnesota Vikings as 12-point underdogs. Their opponents, the San Francisco 49ers have won five of six Super Bowl appearances but none since a 1995 victory in Super Bowl 29.
Bears vs Chargers: NFL Week 9 Monday Night Football Call
Chicago Bears: Bust out a rookie running back
Though it isn’t a long-term injury, those are piling up these days, Chicago will be without stud RB Matt Forte tonight. Forte is dealing with an MCL sprain and will give way to rookie RB Jeremy Langford who is making his first NFL start in this contest. Langford lands in a soft spot as the Bolts run defense is 26th allowing 124.6 YPG. WR Eddie Royal is also out for the Bears so Marquess Wilson steps in as the WR2 for Chicago. After opening their season with three straight losses, Chicago won two in a row but have since dropped back-to-back battles to NFC North Division rivals Detroit (37-34 OT) and Minnesota (23-20). Overall, the Bears have been outscored by a 202-140 margin during their first seven matches.
San Diego Chargers: Roster hits to key players just keep coming in SoCal
If we had an hour or so, we would discuss the injuries in San Diego as the Chargers locker room is doubling as an infirmary these days. The biggest blow was delivered last weekend as WR Keenan Allen was lost for the season due to a lacerated kidney. The Bolts are also down to second and third options on the offensive line while four players in their secondary are listed as questionable - including safety Eric Weddle and cornerback Jason Verrett. After getting level with a 2-2 record, following a 30-27 home win versus Cleveland in Week 4, the Chargers have lost four contests by a combined 117-95 margin. Eight teams stand between San Diego and a AFC Wild Card playoff berth. Put a fork in 'em.
Bears vs Chargers NFL Week 9 Call: Both of these teams can produce on offense and neither squad is very good on defense so, at the very least, this should be an entertaining tilt. San Diego was in the MNF spotlight back in Week 5 as they lost 24-20 to Pittsburgh who started a third string turd at QB. Decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball, we can’t see the Bolts blowing out the Bears and they may lose outright here. John Fox coached teams are 5-0 at the 'Murph. Back the Bears with a 500 unit wager on the alternate point spread price posted at the Sportsbook.ag sports wagering website.

Over the years, the NHL All-Star Game has gone through many format changes but in the past few years, the league appears to have hit on a formula that works via its division vs division three-on-three tournament. Pitting the Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central and Pacific Divisions in a quick free-for-all, 20-minute mini-games has created an exciting tournament for fans and TV viewers, and a much better wagering environment for sports bettors.
