Everywhere you look, there are big games on the NCAA football schedule. In the Big 12, Oklahoma tangles with Oklahoma State. In a Big Ten match-up, Penn State faces its third straight top-25 team in Michigan State. No. 4 Clemson is at North Carolina State in a key ACC showdown, while the big SEC game sees LSU visiting second-ranked Alabama. Stanford-Washington State and USC-Arizona are huge Pac 12 tilts.

Nick Saban or Urban Meyer don’t win the college football national title every year, it just seems that way. In the last 12 seasons, the head coaches of Alabama and Ohio State are leading the entire nation in championship crowns 7-5. The Crimson Tide and Buckeyes are at or near the top in preseason polls again this year. These two powerhouses will likely be there when it comes playoff time in 2018 as well.
