  • Netherlands vs Argentina
  • Morocco vs Portugal
  • France vs England

Soccer picks: Croatia vs Brazil - Neymar to score in 90 mins

Brazil turned in their best performance of the tournament so far in the last 16, thumping South Korea 4-1 thanks to goals from Neymar, Richarlison, Vinicius Jr and Lucas Paqueta.

It's no coincidence that the performance coincided with the return to fitness of Neymar, who is undoubtedly the best Brazilian player of his generation and is closing in on the great Pele's all-time scoring record.

They'll be confident heading into the clash with Croatia, who needed a penalty shootout to defeat Japan in the last round after a relatively disappointing performance saw them draw 1-1 in 90 minutes.

They're the only team not to win their group to make it to this stage and they'll be heavy underdogs heading into it, so the value is with prop bets.

Neymar is the heartbeat of the Brazil team and while he's more than capable of getting a goal in open play, it helps that he's also the man on penalty duty and free-kick duty, so back him to get on the scoresheet once again to take his team into the final four.

Soccer picks: Netherlands vs Argentina - Back the Unders

Both of these teams made it into this stage of the tournament after winning their initial groups and then turning in top performances in the last 16 round.

The Netherlands claimed wins over Senegal and Qatar in the groups to claim top spot, before a dominant 3-1 win over the USMNT in the last round. That game was the first time in this tournament that the Unders didn't land in one of their games.

Argentina on the other hand started with a defeat to Saudi Arabia in the biggest shock of the tournament so far, but they've since picked up wins over Mexico, Poland and Australia to get to this stage. Only two of their four games have seen the Unders not land.

Netherlands will continue with their five-at-the-back system in defence, looking to counter attack and catch Argentina out with pace, while Lionel Messi's side will continue to keep the ball and look to break them down. It's a real clash of styles and one that will see a brilliant game.

Based on that though, goals will likely be hard to come by. Expect a moment of magic from either side to be enough to separate the sides, and it could even come down to a penalty shootout because of how close it is.

Soccer picks: Morocco vs Portugal - Back the Unders

Morocco have been the surprise package of the tournament so far, winning their group and then eliminating the mighty Spain via a penalty shootout in the last round, all while only conceding one goal throughout - and even that was an own goal!

Portugal on the other hand made relatively easy work of their group stage, winning the opening two games against Ghana and Uruguay to secure qualification early and then thumping Switzerland in the last 16 6-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Goncalo Ramos, who replaced the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo after a spat with the manager.

The big question will be whether or not he returns to the team, but it seems unlikely after that performance.

Morocco's game plan will be clear. They will sit back in a low block and look to frustrate Portugal, and despite their recent blast of goals it won't be easy for them to break them down.

I expect there to be the odd goal separating these sides either way so while it's not the most confident pick it's the most likely from this fixture based on what we've seen so far.

Soccer picks: France vs England - Both teams to score

England+215+210+202

Without a doubt the game of the round, between two of the most impressive sides in the tournament so far.

France were the first team to qualify winning their opening two group games, before an entirely changed starting team lost tot Tunisia. Their first string returned and dominated against Poland with a big 3-1 win, as superstar Kylian Mbappe moved to five goals for the tournament with an incredible performance.

England are unbeaten so far, beating Iran and Wales in the group stages to win their group before a dominant 3-0 win over Senegal in the last 16 thanks to goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka.

Both teams have been strong defensively so far, but they have been at their best pushing forward and they have the quality to put each other to the sword. If any game has got goals written all over it, it's this one, so back both teams to get on the scoresheet.
