Whilst each fighter is capable of winning this match, Oliveira greater experience and superior grappling game have him as the favourite.

One of the better matches of the night is between two welterweights looking to make a bigger name from themselves. Magny is currently slipping down the rankings, sitting at 15 and Silva is currently unranked among welterweights. Magny gains the edge in this match from his slightly greater striking and defense, but he may not be fully prepared for this match, having founght at UFC 190 just three weeks prior. Silva may be able to steal the match if he can get Magny to the ground and submit him.

The fight card is stacked with Canadians, but Cote is the one the main card and is favoured to win. Even though Cote is from Quebec, fighting on home soil gives him the advantage over his opponent. Both fighters are MMA veterans, with a combined 49 wins in their careers and have refined games. Neither fighter is particularly adept at winning through submission, but Burkman gets the edge in that category. Even though Burkman has a slight edge there, Cote’s stamina is his largest asset, having gone all 3 rounds in his last four matches, compiling a 3-1 record along the way.
