Demetrious Johnson has been the flyweight champion for nearly three years now and is considered by many as one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the UFC. The last time Dodson and Johnson battled in the ring the match want the entire five rounds with Johnson winning by unanimous decision. Since that cold January night in 2013, neither fighter has lost a match. Of course Johnson has consistently been fighting the top flyweight contenders while Dodson was busy proving he was worthy of another title fight. At 36 years a piece, these two former heavyweight champions are looking to get enough of a boost in the twilight of their careers for another title fight, or too at least retire with respect and dignity. Arlovski – currently ranked fourth, and Mir – currently ranked tenth have never faced each other in their careers. Arlovski is riding a wave of success going 9-1 over his last 11 contests, with a no contest. Mir has won his last two matches, both knockouts in the first round. Mir has really turned it around as of late, after losing four straight, he was on the fringe of being released from the UFC. Since the threat Mir is starting to fight like the man who was heavyweight champion 10 years ago, with some experts saying he may be even better.

Corey Anderson vs. Jan Blachowicz

Odds: Anderson +125, Blachowicz -155

Neither fighter has much of a history in the UFC, with 4 fights between the two. Making a name and climbing the rankings is the main goal at this intersection of their careers. Blachowicz has a longer career, with 15 more fights than Anderson. Experience should help Blachowicz improve on light heavyweight ranking and make a bigger name for himself in the UFC universe.
