Seattle vs Cleveland: NFL Week 15 Odds And Prediction
Hawks early season struggles are well in the past
After opening their season with a mediocre 2-4 record, Seattle is the hottest team in the NFL as they have won six of their last seven games in fairly convincing fashion. That’s particularly true recently as Seattle followed a 39-32 home loss to Arizona with four straight wins by a combined 141- 56 combined count. The Hawks return to their home nest after posting a 38-7 win over the Vikings in Minnesota in Week 13 prior to ripping the Ravens 35-6 in Baltimore last week. QB Russell Wilson is on fire as he has passed for 1171 yards and 16 touchdowns during his last four outings. That's en fuego eh?
Cleveland Browns: Providing the Seahawks billboard material is not wise
Looking like they might be turning a corner, after a 33-30 OT win in Baltimore way back in Week 5, injuries, mediocre talent and a coach who doesn’t think Russell Wilson is a top-tier quarterback, have all contributed to 1-7 mark since. The remarks by Cleveland head coach Mike Pettine are idiotic when you consider that Johnny “Trainwreck” Manziel is his starting QB plus the Seahawks definitely don’t need any additional billboard material. Manziel did manage to “guide” the Browns to a 24-10 win over San Francisco at home last weekend but we see Johnny Party as a sitting duck in this contest.
Seattle vs Cleveland NFL Week 15 Prediction: Although he later "clarified" what he "actually" said - Pettine may have been trying to deflect attention away from the worst QB situation in the NFL. All things considered, and call us square if you will, but giving a team a three score head start is something we rarely do – even when the team is as bad as the Browns. That said, Seattle should handle Cleveland fairly easily in this contest. As such we will lay the 7.5 points and back the Hawks with a 1000 unit wager on the Adjusted Line posted at the Sportsbook.ag wagering website.
