NFL Super Bowl Weekend: Best Prop Bets

NFL Super Bowl Weekend: Best Prop Bets

Five Good Prop Bets for Super Bowl 50

After searching through the hundreds of theprop bets available, we have whittled the list down to- what we think - are five of the best options. In no particular order here are those five prop bets.

CJ Anderson Over/Under 65.5 Total Rushing Yards

Odds: Over -115

Take the Over option on this bet. The Broncos have been relying more on the running game than any other time in Peyton Manning’s era in Denver and it has worked. Anderson, who started the season off slow, has picked up the slack lately, having crossed the 65.5 yard make in his last four games - including the playoffs.

Total Touchdowns 5.5 – Under

Odds: Under -155

Two of the top defenses in the NFL meet on Sunday, and it is difficult to see both of them breaking down and getting blown out. It would seem that each team has the ability to limit their opponents to field goals few times. Meaning a 35-28 game should look more like 27-20.

Von Miller Over/Under .5 Sacks

Odds: Over -225

Miller – who was picked one spot after Cam Newton in the 2011 draft – is just too good of a player to keep contained all game. Denver will need their pass rush to step up – like they did against New England –  for them to have any chance at slowing the Panthers offense. Look for Miller to contribute.

Both teams make a field goal of 33 or more –

Odds: Even for yes

With how good Denver’s kicker – Brandon McManus - has been this season and Denver’s excellent defense, being again to limit yards and touchdowns, expect both teams to be set up for fields outside the red zone on Sunday.

Peyton Manning Over/Under 235 Yard

Odds: Over -125

Given this could be Peyton Manning's final game of his career and with the extra week off for the Super Bowl, it is hard to see one of the most prolific passers of all-time not posting over 235 yards. Also working in his advantage is the fact in his three previous Super Bowl appearances, Manning threw for between 247 and 333 yards.

Three Possible Outcomes With Crazy Odds

There are some more ridiculous options for prop betting during the Super Bowl with very low odds of occurrence. But if you are feeling adventurous on sports biggest Sunday, here are three that have some of the most realistic chances of happening.

Brandon McManus - (Denver's Kicker) wins MVP. Odds: +6600. He has maybe been Denver's most important player this postseason.

Coldplay's First Song - Clocks. Odds +750. Start off with a classic everyone knows to get the crowd into it.

Length of First Touchdown - 16-25 Yards. Odds +400: Whoever starts with the ball will get a nice passing score to their tight end to open the scoring.
