Los Angeles Dodgers: Turn to Kershaw to send the series to a fifth game
Putting their meltdown from last behind them is all the Dodgers can do at this point. Los Angeles equaled the 13 hit total New York posted but they were just three for nine with runners in scoring position. Even worse, the Dodgers posted just one run in 2-out situations. Despite his extremely limited success in the postseason, LHP Clayton Kershaw (16-7 ERA 2.13) gets the call for the Dodgers. Kershaw allowed three runs, on four hits over 6.2 innings pitched, during the Dodgers 3-1 loss during the series opener. It’s difficult to trust anyone, not named Greinke, on the Dodgers pitching staff.
