NBA Finals 2021 Betting Guide
- The Phoenix Suns are -200 favorites to win the 2021 NBA Finals over the Milwa Suns
- Milwaukee hasn't won an NBA title since the 1973-74 season
- Phoenix has never won a championship, losing in the 1975-76 and 1992-93 NBA Finals
When it comes to the NBA Finals picks, at least the Milwaukee Bucks have a history. Sure, it's old, tattered and the clips of the accomplishments are grainy and faded. They won the NBA Finals in 1973-74.

The Phoenix Suns have been there but they haven't done that. Phoenix lost in the 1975-76 NBA Finals to the Boston Celtics and in the 1992-93 NBA Finals to the Chicago Bulls. Will the NBA finals odds prove to be third-time lucky for the Suns?
Oddsmakers are of that belief. The Suns have been established as the -200 favorites to defeat the Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals odds.
Two seasons removed from an NBA-worst 19-63 campaign, Phoenix is four wins away from the first championship in franchise history.
Will The Bucks Stop Here?
Is this the year that the NBA picks finally align for the Bucks and they live up to the hype?
Led by two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks entered the 2019 and 2020 NBA postseason as the choice to win it all in the NBA Vegas odds. However, fate was not on their side. In 2019, they were ousted by the eventual NBA Finals champion Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference final. Last year, Milwaukee suffered a stunning first-round defeat at the hands of the eventual Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat.
This season, it was the Bucks who did the giant-killing, toppling the favored Brooklyn Nets in the second round of the playoffs.

However, a hyperextended knee sidelined The Greek Freak for Milwaukee's last two games of the Bucks' six-game Eastern Conference Final triumph over the Atlanta Hawks. Giannis is enjoying his best career playoff performance.
He's averaging 28.2 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, all while shooting 55.1 percent from the field. That includes a dominant 40-point, 13-rebound effort as they ousted the Nets in Game 7.
Without a healthy Greek Freak, things could get freaky for the Bucks in the NBA Final odds. He's listed as a doubtful starter as the NBA Finals get underway.
Suns Finally Shining
It's been 10 years since Phoenix made the playoffs and the Suns are making the most of their return. They launched their path to the NBA Finals by bouncing LeBron and the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers in Round 1. Next, Phoenix downed last season's Western Conference finalists the Denver Nuggets, before taking down the Los Angeles Clippers in the Westen Conference Final.
The NBA Finals odds are shining on the Suns, with good reason. They are a talented young cast surrounding veteran guard Chris Paul, who has led Phoenix to the NBA Finals and his first appearance in his 16th season.

Paul has also endured his share of ailments along the playoff trail. He battled though a shoulder injury in the opening round against the Lakers. Paul then missed the first two games of the Western Conference Final after testing positive for COVID-19.
