Preseason favorites for the MLS Cup, New York Red Bulls, have had a dreadful start to their 2016 MLS campaign, one that has seen three defeats and only one victory. Despite their poor start, many online sports betting sites price the Red Bulls at +105 with their visiting opponents, Sporting Kansas City at a long +274.

Bookmakers rarely get these things wrong, it is in their interests not to, but the +274 you can get on a Kansas City victory seems like immense value, particularly when you consider they are 3-0-1 for the season so far, and the Red Bulls will be without Damien Perrinelle, Gonzalo Veron, Gideon Baah, Ronald Zubar, and Kemar Lawrence is a major doubt to feature, weakening an already shaky defence.

We would not blame you for betting on the Red Bulls, but the odds available on Kansas seem too good to be true.

New England Revolution (+103) vs. Toronto FC (+282)

New England Revolution have won both of their previous two fixtures against Toronto FC at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, and we expect them to extend that record to three from three when the teams meet on Saturday.

The Revolution won their first game of 2016 last week with a 1-0 win over a faltering New York Red Bulls side, having lost one and tied three prior to that victory. Head coach Jay Heaps has a full-strength side to pick from for the visit of Toronto FC, who suffered their second consecutive defeat by shutout when they lost to Colorado Rapids 1-0.

The match could be a tight affair, but one that the Revolution should come through with all three points.

Houston Dynamo (+129) vs. Seattle Sounders (+228)

The Houston Dynamo play hosts to Seattle Sounders on April 10 in a match featuring two sides yet to show what they are capable of. Dynamo have never lost to the Sounders in Houston and this record should remain intact at the end of the next 90-minutes as we fancy this fixture to end in a tie.

Dynamo will be looking to tighten up in defence following two straight defeats, while Seattle’s 1-0 win against the Montreal Impact last weekend halted a slide of three straight defeats. The Sounders would likely be happy with a share of the spoils, and although sportsbetting sites are pricing the Sounders at a long +228 to win, we believe they will grab a point which you can bet on around +225.
