Preakness Stakes Full Field, Post Time And Odds

2018 Preakness Stakes Post Postions

In sharp contrast to the 20-horse field of the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness will feature a much smaller field, with four runners coming from the Derby to contest the Preakness, and four other new shooters joining the fray. What won't be in contrast to the Derby is the weather and track conditions, as steady rain through Friday and possible thunderstorms on Saturday will likely leave the Pimlico track a quagmire.

Here's a look at how they'll line up in the gate, their current race record, and a review of how they got to Baltimore.

Odds courtesy of Bovada's racebook.

Record: 9 starts, 1 win, 3 seconds, 1 third - Last out finished eighth in the Kentucky Derby. Prior to that he was second in the (G2) Louisiana Derby. His only win came last summer on a sloppy Saratoga track.
