Spurs Should Brush of Southampton With Ease

Your banker bet of the weekend should be on Tottenham Hotspur to beat Southampton at odds of -290. Spurs won 3-0 at the weekend when they turned over Burnley courtesy of a hat trick from Harry Kane, which was his 13th, 14th and 15th goals of the season.

Kane is +225 to score first and -150 to score at any time; I would not deter anyone from placing either of these bets. You may also want to look at both teams to score at +105. This is because Spurs have only kept two clean sheets in their last eight league games.

Make sure that you bet on Spurs to win because they have won eight, drawn one and lost one of their previous fixtures against Southampton, while Southampton are in a poor run of form with just one win in 10 league games; they have lost five of those games.

A Low Scoring Affair at Old Trafford

Manchester United invite Burnley to their Old Trafford home in a game they have to win to try and keep tabs on the league’s runaway leaders Manchester City.

United drew 2-2 away at Leicester City to lose ground n Man City; they are now 13 points behind their Manchester rivals. United should get back to winning ways against Burnley not least because they have beaten everyone at home this season barring Man City.

The Red Devils are -450 to win this game and while that does not look too enticing, it is almost certainly going to happen. Something else likely is a low scoring affair because 15 of Burnley’s 19 games have seen under 2.5 goals. Bovada isn’t providing odds on this exact market, unfortunately.

Bovada think the most likely result is a 2-0 win for United at +450 with 1-0 priced at +600 and 3-0 coming in at +650. I like the look of 2-0 United with Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score during the 90 minutes at -120.

Chelsea Take on Toothless Brighton

Chelsea take on Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge in a game that looks set to see Chelsea keep a clean sheet. Brighton have only scored 15 goals in 19 games and have failed to put the ball in the opposition goals in five of their last seven league games.

Conversely, The Seagulls have been quite solid at the back and have only conceded two goals once in 32 games in all competitions, but do not let this put you off backing Chelsea to win 2-0 at +450. You should also take a look at both teams not to score and Chelsea to win at -150 which seems almost certain to happen.

If you are looking to place a bet on the goalscorer market then look no further than Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard is on nine goals for the season and looks a class above the majority of the Premier League’s forwards. Morata missed his side’s last game after picking up his fifth booking of the season for over celebrating his late winner in the 2-1 home win over Bournemouth.

Our friends at Bovada have Morata at +250 to be the first name on the score sheet and -150 to score past Brighton at anytime. I’d probably opt for the latter just in case manager Antonio Conte decides to stick with the same team as last week, leaving Morata on the substitute’s bench.
