Although they have stumbled some, with three straight loses, few teams have been hotter than Chicago recently. Competitive early in the season, Atlanta was 25-25 and three games out of first at the end of May, the Braves have crashed as they are 53-67 and now sit eleven games behind the New York Mets in the NL East.
