Chicago vs Anaheim: Western Conference Game Four NHL Betting Odds And Advice
Blackhawks aim to square the series before heading back to SoCal
After losing their first game on home ice during the 2014-15 Stanley Cup playoffs, Chicago is in a near “must win” situation tonight. A lack of scoring punch is slowing down the Blackhawks as they have scored just five goals through the first three games. A plodding power play, that went 0-5 in Game 3 and is now just 2-13 during the series, certainly hasn’t helped the Hawks cause.
Anaheim Ducks: Continue to crush the Blackhawks in the hit parade
Going into this series, we knew the Ducks were the more physical squad. Just how punishing Anaheim has been is a big reason why they hold a 2-1 series advantage. The numbers on the “total hits” board are extremely lopsided as the California Crew has a 116-72 edge. Defense, and goaltender Frederick Anderson in particular who owns a 9.57 save percentage vs the Hawks, has also been a huge key during the Ducks 10-2 postseason run. The Ducks wear teams down and then put them away.
Anaheim vs Chicago NHL Playoff Call: Chicago hasn’t lost two straight playoff games at the Madhouse on Madison since they dropped a pair of 3-2 overtime contests to Arizona in 2012. That said, Anaheim’s hard-hitting ways have knocked the Hawks finesse offense off track and we’re not sure they can back on the rails. When all is said and done, we expect another close contest here so we’ll soar with the Ducks and a 1000 unit wager on the Bovada puck line price.
