USMNT State of Play
The United States so far have been relatively disappointing in qualifying, with just four wins from their eight games so far and three draws. They currently sit one point behind Canada but know that when they face off at the end of the month the winner will likely go on to claim automatic qualification as group winner.
The USA have scored just 12 goals in their eight games so far, which is only bettered by Canada and they have the joint best defense with their neighbors with just five goals conceded. With the quality of players available to them though, they should be doing much better.
The last round of qualifiers saw them earn four points with a 2-0 win over Mexico before a disappointing 1-1 draw with Jamaica.
They will look to improve and go three wins from three in this round of fixtures to hugely boost their chances of being in Qatar come November 2022.

The first game of the triple-header should be a bit of a cakewalk for the USMNT when they host El Salvador at Lower.com Field.
While the squad hasn't been announced as of writing, it's expected to be a strong one with most of Europe's top leagues taking a short break to accommodate the international window. That means the likes of Christian Pulisic, Sergino Dest, Winston McKennie and Daryl Dike will all be available and that could be a big difference-maker.
With all their top stars available for the game and doing pretty well domestically with their club sides, the US should look to make a big statement in this game and go for a blowout. The biggest game of the round will be when the USMNT travel to Tim Hortons Field for a top-of-the-table clash.
These two teams have been close to inseperable in qualifying so far and the first fixture between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from Brenden Aaronson and Cyle Larin. This time around there is plenty at stake and the US really need to make sure they take all three points.
Defensively both teams have been solid enough so far, but going forward there is untapped potential there. If the US can get into a good rhythm against El Salvador a few days prior, then they could come into this game in great form and find a way to open Canada up.
Both will be pushing hard, so the easy bet here will be to back the 'both teams to score market. It's important for the US to score the first goal to prevent Canada from sitting back and soaking up pressure, but I expect they will and it should open the game up more to create more chances for either team.

The first time these two teams met, the US romped to a comfortable 4-1 victory thanks to goals from Antonee Robinson, Ricardo Pepi, Aaronson, and Sebastian Lletget. With that said though, the club scored three goals from the 75th minute onwards which shows that in the end the pressure they applied forced the home side to crumble.
Honduras are rock bottom of the standings with no wins from eight games and just three points so far, so the USMNT will look to punish them once again.
The likes of Dike, Aaronson, Pulisic, and McKennie will see this as a great opportunity to get on the scoresheet and it could turn into a party of qualification depending on how other results go during this international window.
Expect a comfortable victory with this one and for the USMNT to score a good few times.
