The NFL is back for Week 13 of the 2023 season as the Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks at the AT&T Stadium in this week's edition of Thursday night football.
The Cowboys are currently 8-3 for the season after their win at the weekend made it five wins in their last six, while the Seahawks are 6-5 so far this season having lost each of their last two games.

Season so far
Dallas have had a fantastic season so far and have one of the best records in the entire NFL with eight wins and three defeats from their first 11 games.
They started the season with a stunning 40-0 win over the New York Giants week 1, before following up with a second win over the New York Jets 30-10 in week 2. The Cowboys then suffered their first loss of the season in a 16-28 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals, before another loss in week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers saw them get thrashed 42-10.
There was a win between those games that saw them claim a 38-3 victory over the New England Patriots. They followed that with back-to-back wins over Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams either side of their bye, before a trip to Philadelphia Eagles saw them defeated again.
Since then however they have won their last three games on the bounce, dominating with a 49-17 win over the Giants again, a 33-10 win over the Carolina Panthers and most recently a 45-10 win over the Washington Commanders.
Seattle on the other hand have had a mixed campaign thus far, which started with 13-30 defeat against the Rams in week 1.
The Seahawks quickly bounced back and amassed their best run of the season following that defeat by winning three games in a row. They earned a super entertaining 37-31 overtime win over the Detroit Lions in week 2, then earned a 37-27 win over the Carolina Panthers before a 24-3 win over the New York Giants.
Since returning from a bye in week 5, their form hasn't been nearly as good though. They dropped a 13-17 defeat to Cincinnati Bengals, but then claimed back-to-back wins over the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns in their next two games.
A heavy 37-3 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens followed that, and while they got back on track with a narrow win over the Washington Commanders the performance wasn't the best.
They then lost their next two games with a narrow loss to the Rams before the San Francisco 49ers handed them a lopsided 31-13 defeat last time out.
NFL Picks: Dallas Cowboys -8 @ -105
Dallas are by far the better team of the two competing against each other, and with the home-field advantage on top of that too this could be a really solid bet.
So far this season the Cowboys are 8-3 against the spread, and 4-1 when the spread has been 7.5 points or more. That record improves to 3-0 when it's restricted to just home games, which shows that the Seahawks will have a really difficult time on Thursday night.
Dak Prescott has been in excellent form and got four touchdowns in the big win over the Commanders last time out, while Tony Pollard earned 79 yards and a touchdown too.
Three of Seattle's defeats this season have been by margins of more than eight points, so when they lose it tends to be heavily.
The Dallas Cowboys are more than strong enough to get the job done and the likelihood is that they keep their foot on the gas for long enough to claim the big win against the spread. It seems more likely that this lands than doesn't, and at -105 there is fantastic value in it.

NFL Picks: Over 46.5 total points @ -107
Large points totals have been a theme in Cowboys games this season, and Seattle haven't been afraid to go toe-to-toe with teams either which has seen good points totals run up.
The average total in the Seahawks' away games this season is 46.9 points, while the Cowboys' home games have averaged 42.5 points. Across the entire NFL season so far Dallas have averaged 31.5 points per game scored, while they have been conceding an average of 16.8 points per game over the same period.
Seattle on the other hand have averaged 20.8 points per game scored, while defensively they have allowed an average of 22.6 points per game this season.
Putting those totals together, plus the form of the two teams then it seems highly likely that the 46.5 total points line will be surpassed in this game and that makes it a great value bet at -107.
