Golden State Warriors @ Brooklyn Nets - November 16. 7:30 pm ET

The Nets are coming into this game with a positive 10-4 record so far this season, having won eight of their last ten games as Durant and James Harden finally find their rhythm together.

Their home record has been good so far at 4-2, with their most recent home game being a 117-108 win over the Atlanta Hawks back on November 3rd. So far the side are averaging 108.5 points per game and the defense have been solid, allowing only 103.5 points per game to currently have the sixth-best defense in the entire NBA.

The Warriors on the other hand have got the best record in the league this season at 11-2 but defeat in their most recent game to the Charlotte Hornets on the road has halted their momentum. They do still have the best offense in the league so far this season though, averaging 115.1 points per game and Curry averaging 28 points per game on his own.

Last year the two sides met twice with the Nets claiming victory on both occasions with 125-99 and 134-117 scorelines.

Back the Unders

Two of the teams with the absolute best offenses in the NBA right now, but surprisingly they're also two of the best defensive teams too.

The Warriors sit 3rd in the rankings for best defense and have the best overall record in the NBA so far, while the Nets have the best offense and the sixth-best defense. With three wins-in-a-row and Durant on fire right now, logic would lean you towards backing on big points.

But when you remember that Draymond Green is having a great defensive season for the Warriors this season and that Durant only managed to score 21 points in both games against Golden State combined last year, you start to think twice.

Curry to be reserved

Steph Curry has had plenty of big points games so far this season, but with the game taking place at the Barclays Centre he is likely to be a little more reserved in his shooting with the game due to being really tight.

These games are exciting for fans and players alike, so the atmosphere will be electric which could lead to a slightly slower pace as everyone looks to settle the nerves during the game.

While the game ultimately won't have big implications on each franchise's season, it will have a playoff feel and teams will be wary of defeat which could also help. This game will be great entertainment, but the unders seems the right bet here.

With the totals fixed at 220 points, I think the game will see just under that total so the odds of -105 look good.

Take the Warriors spread!

The Nets are at home but this will be their first real test in a few games. Their most recent victories came against Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, and New Orleans Pelicans, three teams who are not supposed to put up much resistance to the top sides in the league.

As for the Warriors, it's just the second time that they will be coming off a defeat this season and it happened in a game that they were favorites in against the Hornets.

Despite the lack of Klay Thompson in the team yet, the Warriors are still flying when it comes to scoring points, while Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole have been brilliant as secondary scorers to support the load that Curry has been carrying.

Brilliant Season by Durant

Durant has been brilliant all season, cementing himself in the conversation as one of the best scorers ever, but Harden's scoring has been inconsistent at best as the Nets continue to work without Kyrie Irving. Their surprise package this season has been LaMarcus Aldridge, who has emerged as their third-leading scorer while Joe Harris and Patty Mills have both been shooting at above 45 percent from beyond the arc.

This is a game that is likely to come down to the final possession, or near enough, which means having Curry in your team is always an advantage when he's shooting as he currently is. With Green likely to be matching up with Durant, it means the Warriors will look to keep this close and with Harden unreliable right now, take Golden State +2.5 spread as the best bet for this game.
