2018/19 NFL Week #4
You’ll hear me repeat the same mantra every week. Value, value, value. Go with the hot team, at the right time, at the right price, and you’ll never go wrong in the sports betting game. I like teams trending upwards. I like matchups. I like making money.
As always, I’ll be looking at the top three plays based on NFL odds this week:

NFL Betting Picks
Colts -2
This Indianapolis Colts team is for real. They fly to the ball on defense and limit big plays, which has been the Texans’ (their opponent) main source of offense. I also remember the days when Andrew Luck was considered an elite QB and while I don’t know if those will return, I think the Colts offense will improve as the season goes on. The Colts are always tough at home in the dome, so I’ll roll big here with the Colts at -2.

Jags -7.5
Let’s not overcomplicate simple matters. The Jags are going to pound a bad team in the visiting New York Jets. I still think Jacksonville is one of the best teams in the NFL despite the exasperating play of QB Blake Bortles. Their defense is flat-out nasty, so scoring is going to be difficult/impossible for the Jets. I like Jacksonville to pound the rock and stuff the Jets all day long. Another big play with the Jags -7.5. Buy the half point if you must.
Ravens +3
I’ve been saying to anyone that will listen that the Steelers are the most overrated and price-inflated team in NFL football. I like what the Ravens have shown so far, and I think they get the job done outright at Pittsburgh Sunday night. I’m waiting for backup Ravens QB Lamar Jackson to bust loose on the big stage and it could happen here.
