History is about to be made for basketball fans everywhere to enjoy. It has been a thrilling postseason thus far in the NBA and only two teams remain in the hunt to take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Both the Thunder and Pacers are fired up to try and win the title for the first time in team history. With that said, Oklahoma City is our pick over Indiana in the 2025 NBA Finals. Will OKC pull through?
The Thunder were able to wrap things up against the Timberwolves in pretty convincing fashion, winning the series 4-1. A lot of people thought Minnesota would make things interesting, but OKC indeed dominated things. As you might have been able to guess, league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was dominant, putting on a show from start to finish.

"I dreamt about it as a kid, but as a kid, it's a fake dream," Gilgeous-Alexander stated after taking home the NBA MVP honor. "But as the days go on and you realize that you get closer to your dream, it's hard to not freak out. It's hard to not be a 6-year-old kid again. And I think that's what's allowed me to achieve it. I tried to just not focus on it and just worry about what's gotten to this place."

Taking a look at the series as a whole, the over for games in the NBA Finals feels like the smart pick. While a lot of the focus is on the Thunder right now, and rightfully so, don't forget that the Pacers have looked sensational as well. The team has been led by standouts Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, who both were dominated against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals.

I think that just gives us all confidence in each other. I've seen people joke about us. We're like a college team with how close we are and how we've been together. We're all super young.
