NBA Eastern Conference Final: Cavaliers Are Chalk Over The Hawks

NBA Eastern Conference Final: Cavaliers Are Chalk Over The Hawks

King James still owns East Championship Crown

He’s changed teams a few times now but, like him or loath him, LeBron James is one of the best all around players in the Association today. The numbers speak for themselves as LBJ has been a part of four straight Eastern Conference Championship teams – though all in Miami. The Heat finished 10th overall in their first season without James while the Cavaliers went from 33-49 last year (ironically 10th) to second in the East with a 53-29 record with the King back on his throne in Cleveland.

Atlanta Hawks: Soaring in rare playoff air in the Eastern Conference Final

Sporting a dismal NBA playoff past, with a 87-131 record, the Hawks are playing in their first Eastern Conference Final since they soared into Atlanta in 1968. In their entire history, dating back to 1949 when Harry S. Truman was President, Atlanta has one NBA Championship which was won in 1958 when Dwight D. Eisenhower occupied the White House. Atlanta is a team without a “superstar” but they're healthier than the Cavs at this point. Still, we don’t see the Hawks having enough here.

Hawks vs Cavaliers Eastern Conference Call: Even though the Hawks own the highly coveted home court advantage, the Cavaliers are one win in Atlanta from turning the table. This series may be shorter than some pundits are forecasting. Give us the LBJ lead Cavaliers to win the East with a 1000 unit wager on the series price posted at the BetOnline.ag sports betting website.
