Seattle vs Minnesota: Mariners King Felix Will Tame The Twins
Seattle Mariners King Felix: Load up and prosper
Undeniably one the most reliable aces in baseball, Felix Hernandez looks for his third win of the young MLB season tonight. King Felix has been one of the few bright spots in Seattle as the Mariners are off to a mediocre 6-9 start. Hernandez (2-0 ERA 2.37) is making his fourth start and he's allowed just five runs on 12 hits over 19 innings pitched. Even more impressive, The King has walked just five batters while striking out 23. Seattle is coming off a 3-2 win versus Houston on Wednesday.
Minnesota Twins: Twinkies face a long season in the MLB AL Central
While they haven't been quite as bad as we thought they would be, Minnesota is just a half game out of the American League cellar. The Twins were able to put a terrible 1-6 season start behind them as they have posted a 5-3 record over their last eight games. RHP Phil Hughes (0-3 ERA 5.30) heads to the mound for Minnesota tonight. Hughes, who has 2/13 walk/strikeout ratio, has given up eight hits in each of first three starts and he's allow eleven runs during 18.2 innings pitched.
Mariners vs Twins Prediction: Even though they have been underachieving so far this season, good things happen when King Felix heads to the hill in Seattle. We are backing the Mariners with a 500 unit wager on the money line price posted at the Sportsbook.ag online sports wagering website.
