NFL Week 7 Predictions

NFL Week 7 Predictions
A bettor can never rest on his laurels, so I've already forgotten that I went 3-1 ATS in Week 6. A good team stays hungry and focused even after a win and that's exactly what I intend to do this week with another round of solid plays.

Even though Week 6 won’t carry over to week 7 and there are new profits to be made…

Here’s a quick glance at the week that was: Chicago and LA both won outright as dogs and, the New York/Dever game was under like thunder. The Giants actually won that one as 11.5-point dogs – a game where I had a sneaky feeling they were being totally disrespected.

NFL Week 6 Predictions Results
Chicago+7 @ Baltimore Winner
Los Angeles +2.5 @ Jacksonville Winner
Los Angeles/Jackson UNDER 42.5 Loser
New York Giants/Denver UNDER 39.5 Winner

Like I said, last week is over. Time to focus on what’s in front of us.

Kansas City (-3) @ Oakland (+3) O/U: 46.5

NFL » Regular
Sunday 29 October
Oakland Raiders
Buffalo Bills

Oakland Raiders @ Buffalo Bills

KC (5-1) suffered its first loss Sunday and now must recover quickly to face Oakland (2-4) on the road in a Thursday night showdown. The Raiders have lost four straight and are in desperate need of a win. This game has a bad feel for the Chiefs, but at the end of the day the outcome feels like a coin flip. Both offensive lines are banged up heading into this one and a short week of preparation usually favors defenses. All signs point to a hard-fought, nip and tuck affair where points could be scarce so 46.5 seems like an ambitious total.

Denver (+2) @ Los Angeles Charger (-2) O/U: 42

Sunday 22 October
Denver Broncos
Los Angeles Chargers

Broncos @ Chargers

  Money Line

How did Denver manage to lose to the hapless New York Giants last week? Really, how? This Broncos team suddenly has all kinds of issues and question marks surrounding its prospects this season. I expect them to play more inspired football this week, but they’ll need more than inspiration. Meanwhile, the Chargers (2-4) are riding high after beating Oakland with a late field goal last week for its second win in a row. The Chargers have been in every game this year and will make it three straight at home against a Denver team trying to find itself.

Take Los Angeles -2 Bovada

Cincinnati (+5.5) @ Pittsburgh (-5.5) O/U: 41.5

NFL » Regular
Sunday 22 October
Cincinnati Bengals
Pittsburgh Steelers

Bengals @ Steelers

  Money Line

So let’s get right down to it. Neither of these teams are impressive offensively and this game will be one where field position takes on added significance. If the Bengals can slow Le’Veon Bell (134 carries for 550 yards this year), they can put themselves in a position to spring the upset.

With Big Ben openly questioning his own declining skill set, I just can’t endorse the Steelers or their offense here. Even though I’m leaning towards taking the Bengals with the points, I like another low-scoring under here.

Take Under 41.5 Bovada

Falcons Righting The Ship At The Right Time?
Are the Atlanta Falcons finally starting to come around? Seemingly in a state of disarray ever since they blew their big lead and lost Super Bowl LI to the New England Patriots, there was a definite hangover from that failure as the 2017 NFL season got underway, as the Falcons struggled to find their game. But last week in a decisive 27-7 win over Dallas, they looked like the defending NFC champs.

College Football Picks Week 12
Following a week of huge games and upsets galore among the top 10 in NCAA football, the rankings have suddenly taken on a very familiar feel. There's Alabama right there at the top, with Clemson slotted in at No. 2 - the same spots the two schools occupied last season when the Tigers upset the Crimson Tide in the national championship game. History does have a way of repeating itself, doesn't it?
