Toronto FC Betting Tips

Toronto FC managed to turn their luck around as the team, after making their first playoff appearance in 2015, made it all the way to the final in 2016, losing on penalties to the Seattle Sounders.

Giovinco, who signed with the team in 2014 for an annual salary of $7 million, had a large part to play in their improbable success. He scored 17 goals and added 14 assists, almost replicating his 2015 Golden Boot season, where the diminuitive maestro had 22 goals and 16 assists in 33 games.

He’s the offensive genius in Toronto’s side but Giovinco has a great supporting cast helping him along the way. Jozy Altidore, with his strength and size, partners perfectly Giovinco. They complement each other better than Toronto could have dreamed and offer a formidable one-two punch.

Toronto finished the 2016 season in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. They had the second best away record, tallying six wins on their travels. Only New York City FC fared better in enemy territory. Winning eight games at home, Toronto FC also performed well at home.

Look towards the under market when considering betting on Toronto. Built on a solid defensive setup, Toronto FC conceded an Eastern Conferene low 39 goals. Colorado, who conceded 32 goals, were the only team to concede fewer than Toronto.
