How To Bet On NY Rangers

Betting on the Rangers can be paradoxical as they’ve at least been in the Stanley Cup conversation for several years, yet always seem to fall short of winning it all. [+]

The Rangers last championship came in 1994 which ended a 54-year drought, so they don’t necessarily have history on their side. The question that lingers is will they be able to win one for Henrik Lundqvist and cement his legacy as one of the best goalies of all time? They always earn a playoff spot, so you never know when the Rangers might finally turn it on at the right time.

New York Rangers Betting Tips

Henrik Lundqvist has been called King Henrik since he burst onto the scene as the Rangers goaltender. He won a gold medal at the Olympics with Sweden in 2006.

The same glory has eluded him in the NHL, though, as the Rangers have yet to win a Stanley Cup with Lundqvist in net.

But he recently won his 400th NHL game and is the only goalie in league history to garner at least 20 wins in each of his first 12 seasons, so Lundqvist is showing no signs of slowing down.

With past deals for players like Rick Nash and Eric Staal, you know that the Rangers will always be willing to take whatever means the feel necessary to position themselves for a shot at the Stanley Cup.

Can the Rangers finally win it all behind the current crop of players or will the Rangers spend another year watching a different team hoist the Stanley Cup? They may not be the obvious pick to win but it wouldn’t serve you well to count the Rangers out come playoff time.
