As part of the (short-lived) Shaq Vs. series, The Big Aristotle jumped into the ring with boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya.
It was kind of a surreal moment, watching the five-round bout unfold. De La Hoya was named the victor, because obviously he was the winner. But Shaq’s formed looked okay throughout the match.
That being said, it would have been cool to see both these guys go at it in the prime of their careers. It never would have happened; Shaq’s NBA livelihood during his heyday was too lucrative. But his younger self might have made for a faster, more competitive head-to-head meeting.
