Thankfully Jerry Rice never once quit his day job in the NFL to pursue professional golf full-time.
The Hall of Fame wideout, who lasted 20 seasons in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seakhawks and San Francisco 49ers, tried his hand on the golfing scene back in 2010. And the results were awful.
Not only did Rice set the record for the highest score on the Nationwide Tour as of 2010he shot a 92 (yikes)but he was eventually disqualified from the event altogether because his caddie, it turns out, used a range-finding tool to measure yardages.
