Here are a few NHL betting options to consider, with odds courtesy of BetOnline.

Chicago Blackhawks (-162) vs. Anaheim Ducks (+146)

Blackhawks

First place in the Central Division is at stake for the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night when they host the Anaheim Ducks at the United Center.

Winners of seven straight, the Blackhawks enter action on Thursday -162 favorites. A win — coupled with a Minnesota loss — would move the Hawks into sole possession of first in their division. The Ducks, who have won five of their last 10 games, head to the Windy City as +146 underdogs.

Playing at the United Center is never an easy task as the Blackhawks hold a 22-8-4 record at home this season. That doesn’t bode well for the Ducks, who are 13-14-7 this season away from home.

Patrick Kane has been outstanding for the Blackhawks during this run, scoring nine goals in five games. Kane’s 70 points ranks second only behind Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers.

This is a series the Hawks have dominated over the last 10 meetings, winning seven times during that stretch.

If you’re considering an over/under wager, the total points projection has been set at 5.5. When these two offensive powerhouse clubs face off, expect a high-scoring match.

Pick: Chicago Blackhawks (-162) and the Over (5.5)

Minnesota Wild (-110) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (+100)

Bolts

The Minnesota Wild will attempt to hang on to first place in the Central Division on Thursday night when the club travels to Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning at Amalie Arena.

The Wild, who have won six of their last 10 games, enter action on Thursday as -110 favorites on the road. The Lightning — winners of six of their last 10 — are heating up at the right time as the club remains in the thick of the playoff battle in the Eastern Conference. The Bolts are enticing +100 underdogs on home ice, where they hold a 17-11-3 record.

The Bolts are third overall in Corsi — a stat that measures shot differential at even strength play — with a 52.3 rating. Only the Los Angeles Kings and Boston Bruins are better in that category.

NHL odds

While the Wild hold a slight advantage in the head-to-head history over the last 10 games — winning six of those meetings — watch the Bolts to come out strong on Thursday.

The total goals projection is 5.5, but with two strong goaltenders set to face off, this game will be low scoring with the Lightning pulling out the victory.

Pick: Tampa Bay Lightning (-162) and the Under (5.5)

Washington Capitals (-108) vs. San Jose Sharks (-102)

Capitals

In what could turn out to be a Stanley Cup final preview, the San Jose Sharks will host the Washington Capitals in a highly anticipated matchup Thursday at SAP Center.

The Sharks, who lead the Pacific Division and are 6-1-3 in the past 10 games, enter action on Thursday as -102 underdogs on home ice where the club are virtually unbeatable. The Sharks are 20-7-4 at home this season. The Capitals — the best team in the Eastern Conference — have also won six of their last 10 and are -108 favorites.

There aren’t many teams that can score at the pace the Capitals can. Washington’s 3.25 goals per game average ranks third best in the NHL, only behind the Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild.

Surprisingly, the Sharks have blanked the Caps over the last 10 meetings, posting a remarkable 8-0-2 during that span.

Bettors should be jumping on the over for the total goals projection of 5 for Thursday night’s match between the Sharks and Caps. While San Jose has got the best of Washington in the past, watch for Alex Ovechkin and the Caps to come out on top in San Jose.

Pick: Washington Capitals (-108) and the over (5)
